Since I first started Dbmlabs, one of my goals and visions of this small company was to help share and expose lesser known artists passionate about making music to share with others. Sure, we all have our opinions on what’s good and what’s not, but the goal is to really help share with others what you’ve done and how you express yourself through music. Music is so powerful that it crosses boundaries–geographical, racial, cultural, gender, ethnical, — you see the point. I wanted to use this company to do more than just to create a brand to represent artists, but to help sponsor and promote DJ ‘s remixers and producers from around the world. This is the same vision we set out 3 years ago and still exists in the same form. We might not be a large record label with millions of marketing dollars, but at least we’ll take a listen to what you have and spread your love and passion with the rest of our fans.Contact us with your work and let’s talk!

We rarely have sales but it’s about time we clean out some of our collection to create room for new ones. Our first shirt we’re putting on sale is our deliciously designed New Order shirt. One that takes us back to the beginning when we started our clothing company, it’s time that we let it retire and go down in history. I believe we released it first when DJ Shiftee had performed back at one of the first DMC competitions we sponsored but we couldn’t find that picture so here’s a video that we do have of him! http://www.dbmlabs.com/blog/2010/04/12/dj-shiftee-bare-noize-juggle-feat-dbmlabs-new-order-tee/.
The new order shirt features a full front array of colors from both ends of the spectrum and a sleeve print. Printed on 100% cotton for comfort. What better way to celebrate beginning of school than to grab one before it runs out!
Just another edition of Fan Fridays, woot woot, not only should you be excited about Fan Fridays, but also excited about the weekend! We gotta do this one quick since it’s been busy but DJ Swivet got a hold of us, just like the rest of you should and showed us what’s up with his Dbmlabs Clothing collection here. DJ Swivet is the official DJ of Donnie Klang, winner of Making of the Band with Mr. Diddy himself. Swivet plays for packed crowds from NYC and venues like Crash Mansion and Pete Wentz and Travis McCoy’s own Angels and Kings. He performs at countless shows for the likes of Fabolous, Dipset, Jadakiss, Maino and J. Holiday. Swivet has opened up for big name djs like, Dj Funkmaster Flex, Dj Bobby Trends, Dj Suss-One, Dj Self, Dj Whoo Kid, Jabba and Bobby Konders. DJ Swivet rocks with the best of them and we’re glad that he’s also rockin our clothing as well! Slam bam thank you ma’am! He’s a no BS DJ that puts passion into his work and makes it a point to make sure his crowd is on the dance floor until the sun comes up. DJ Swivet is sporting the Dbmlabs Redux Shirt and Donny is rocking one of our new Paired Down Tees.
Dbmlabs clothing is starting its first edition of Fan Fridays today. Fan Fridays is our tribute to not only our fans, but lesser known DJs, remixers, producers out there banging away doing their thing with a passion. We’re not just a clothing brand that designs shirts, but we are a company that sponsors and promotes artists whose passion is to make music for others to enjoy. In fact Dbmlabs is a symbol for the lesser known artist — we are a lesser known clothing company that has always, and will always be a clothing label and brand that supports the talent that is not necessarily mainstream. If you would like to participate in future Fan Fridays, contact us and we’ll kick it off with some questions for you! Without further ado, we kick it off with DJ James Taylor of the UK.
